Budget Guidance
Kitchen costs vary hugely based on furniture choice and appliances:
- Build work only (no furniture): £8k-£15k
- Mid-range kitchen (inc. furniture): £20k-£35k
- High-end kitchen (inc. furniture): £40k-£70k+
Furniture costs typically account for 40-60% of total spend. We provide transparent itemised quotes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can we still use the kitchen during the work?
Not during the main build phase. We typically set up a temporary kitchen in another room with kettle, microwave, and washing-up facilities. The disruption usually lasts 2-6 weeks depending on scope.
Do you supply the kitchen furniture?
We can supply furniture through our trade contacts or work with your chosen supplier. Many clients choose their own to get exactly what they want. We template, install, and ensure it all fits.
What if my kitchen layout requires structural changes?
We handle structural alterations including knocking through walls and installing RSJs. Our structural engineer will calculate beam sizes and we liaise with Building Control.
How do you coordinate with the kitchen furniture supplier?
We attend their site survey, review their plans, and coordinate installation timing. We complete all first-fix work before their fitters arrive, then handle second-fix after units are in.
What about appliances?
You supply and we install, or we can source appliances through our trade suppliers. We install, connect, and test all appliances as part of the project.
